SURE YOU HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS. So you’ve completed the digital job interview and were called in for a face-to-face. Congratulations. You just finished going through all the articles you can to find the most common questions (even some uncommon ones) interviewers ask a candidate. You’ve researched the company and come up with your best answers possible.

But have you come up with your own questions to ask the interviewer? Most interviewers like to see that a candidate is truly interested in the position when they come up with their own questions. Several hiring managers shared the best questions they received from candidates they’ve hired.

What is an example of a client challenge you have recently faced? The candidate even responded in a thank you note on how s/he would address the issue. Apparently it worked: s/he got hired.

Where do YOU see the company going in the next year? 10 years? According to the manager, this question stumped the interviewer.

Can I work in the call center for a few weeks to get a sense of your donors’ needs? The position was for a senior business manager.

What is the question you all really want to ask me but haven’t? This question encouraged asking about areas of concerns the company had about the candidate, allowing the candidate a chance to address the issues.

What impact would I have on the team if i get hired? This showed the candidate was trying to figure out what success for the position would look like from the company’s perspective.

I was looking at your social media presence and I can see that your brands have been more active over the past few months. Has your strategy changed? The candidate showed they’d done their research and was already thinking about marketing the company’s brands.

What would make someone really successful in this role? Again searching for a definition on what the company was looking for and that this candidate was an A-player.

After going through these, you’ll want to see if you can’t come up with some of your own that are not only relevant to the position you are interviewing for, but that are equally impressive.
