Captain Scott Kelly

History-Making U.S. Astronaut & Retired U.S. Navy Captain

Captain Scott Kelly’s epic Year In Space, now a New York Times best-selling book, solidified his status as one of the greatest pioneers in history. In his acclaimed speech appearances, he now brings audiences to the edge of their seats with transcendent insights that inspire and challenge them to dream big, test the status quo, and “choose to do the hard things.”

One of a select group of Americans who embody a defining moment in the nation’s history, he captivated the world and seized the imagination of millions during his record-breaking voyage—proving that the sky is not the limit when it comes to the potential of the human spirit. On his trip, Scott, together with his identical twin brother Mark on Earth, paved the way for the future of space travel and exploration as the subjects of an unprecedented NASA study on how space affects the human body.

Released in October 2017, Scott’s New York Times best-selling memoir, “Endurance: My Year In Space and Our Journey to Mars,” is now available everywhere and has been optioned as a Hollywood film by Sony Pictures.

With awe-inspiring stories from space and personal reflections on leadership, teamwork and testing limits, Scott inspires others to believe that they can reach any goal, no matter how ambitious or audacious. As he looks back on the expedition that shuttled him into history books, audiences revel in the presence of a true American hero and gather unique takeaways on persistence, resilience and self-determination that transform the way they view their own journey through life.

IKEA

I started my career sorting potatoes in a grocery store when I was 12 years old. Since many years my focus has moved from root-crop to people.

I strongly believe in people’s wisdom to make their own choices for themselves and for the company they work for, if we allow them to do so. I’ve moved from recruiting co-workers to developing them and today my team and I lead the development of concept, processes and solutions in the area of recruitment for IKEA globally. One of our main focuses right now is candidate experience, the impact it has on our brand and how we can continue being an attractive company.

I’m a father to two beautiful girls, a certified coach and a horse person who hopes to own one of my own someday.

Andy Williams

Director of Talent Acquisition

Keurig Dr Pepper

Andy Williams joined Keurig Dr Pepper in 2015 and led the corporate and field hiring for Dr Pepper Snapple Group until the two companies merged in July 2018. There, he leads a recruiting group with 30+ team members hiring for Canada and the U.S., hiring 8,000+ employees a year. At Dr Pepper Snapple Andy initiated the partnership with HireVue to be better able to manage the requirements of high-volume, time-sensitive hiring needs with little resources.

Prior to joining DPSG, created and led the recruiting function at Brightree, a start-up healthcare software company that grew to the point of ultimately being purchased by ResMed. Andy initiated the use of new technology there.

Prior to working with Brightree, he was a Director of Recruiting and Supplemental Staffing at Kaiser Permanente, a $46 billion healthcare provider.

Before moving into in-house, corporate recruiting was the founder and owner of a staffing firm in the Atlanta market and consultant to several others. Another example of being somewhat of a risk-taker.

While in Atlanta, he was offered the opportunity to take on underperforming locations then promptly grew the business to oversee the largest market for global staffing provider, Randstad NA.

Because he was an early adopter of the technology he became an original advisor to a small, fairly unknown software company called LinkedIn.

He is a slow, but avid bicycle rider and can occasionally be seen riding to work in the Texas heat at KDP.
