Expanding our global commitment to neuroinclusion: Hirevue partners with Aspect
At Hirevue, we believe every candidate deserves the opportunity to show their strengths, and not just the ones who happen to thrive in traditional, high-pressure interview environments. Neuroinclusion has long been a core part of that vision. Through research-backed design, transparent processes, and partnerships with experts, we’ve worked to ensure our technology empowers hiring teams to see potential in autistic and neurodivergent candidates who might otherwise be overlooked.
In the United States, our collaboration with Integrate Autism Employment Advisors helped us deepen that commitment by shaping hiring practices that better support autistic and neurodivergent candidates.
Today, we’re proud to expand that work globally through a new partnership with Aspect, formerly Autism Spectrum Australia, one of the region’s leading organizations supporting Autistic individuals.
Together, we’ve created Rethinking Recruitment: A Guide to Support Autistic and Neurodivergent Candidates, a practical resource for employers who want clearer, more equitable hiring processes. The guide outlines evidence-based steps such as defining roles more transparently, structuring interviews with predictable formats, and offering adjustments proactively so candidates aren’t forced into the uncomfortable position of self-advocating at every stage. It also highlights how tools within Hirevue can reduce cognitive load and ensure candidates are evaluated on capability rather than social performance.
This partnership represents more than a regional expansion; it’s a shared belief that global hiring systems must evolve. When employers improve clarity, reduce ambiguity, and design recruiting processes that support different communication and processing styles, they don’t just create a better experience for autistic and neurodivergent candidates. They create a better experience for everyone.
